I am a specialty foods retailer, tea expert and freelance food and travel writer who absolutely loves to cook and travel. I have a deep respect for and passionate interest in artisan food products, traditional foods and the history and evolution of food and cooking in world cuisines. I am grateful for our tea sourcing trips to Asia which give me the opportunity to learn more detail about the people, the food and the cultures of these heritage places each time we visit.
Along with my husband Bob, I co-own Cooks Shop Here in Northampton, Ma, a unique specialty foods store that we established in 1974 and it’s tea-centric offshoot, Tea Trekker, which is the home of our personally-selected, seasonally produced, premium teas from artisan tea makers around the globe.
